Ethiopic Unicode Characters page 12

List of all characters from the Ethiopic Unicode Characters
The Ethiopic block contains characters used in the Ge'ez script, which is used for writing several languages in Ethiopia and Eritrea, including Amharic, Tigrinya, and Ge'ez. The script is an abugida, where each consonant is combined with a vowel to form a syllable. This block includes characters for all the basic syllables, as well as additional marks and numerals. The Ge'ez script has a long history, dating back to at least the 4th century AD, and is still used in religious and liturgical contexts by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, as well as in modern language use..
